Information You Submit
When you use a search form, the name, phone number, or address you enter goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains whatever details you choose to provide, and we use them only to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create routine logs containing an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review combined data to maintain the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Information
The limited information described above helps us run the site, diagnose faults, count traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Links lead to King County and Washington government portals, library resources, and third-party search tools. Information submitted to an outside service is controlled by that service's privacy policy rather than ours. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results supplied by a third-party company.
Who May Receive Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Safeguard Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Rights
Your place of residence may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, covers consumer health data and geofencing; it does not create a general right to erase King County land records, court files, or other government records. Since we retain very little, a request usually means checking our contact mailbox and server logs and removing responsive data. Submit one through the Contact page. Records held by Union Hill-Novelty Hill's King County or Washington custodians remain outside our control, and removal requests must go to the office responsible for the source record.
